Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to perform various landscaping tasks. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-kept throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy plant growth.
• Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through regular pruning and trimming.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks to ensure the beauty and health of outdoor areas.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Participate in snow plowing activities during winter months to keep properties accessible.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping tools and equipment effectively.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including tree trimming and irrigation techniques.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping tasks.
• A valid driver's license may be required for operating company vehicles or equipment on-site.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
