We are an award winning salon, seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist with following to join our dynamic team with the OPTION FOR CHAIR RENTAL . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair care and styling techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering expert advice on hair care, and ensuring that clients leave feeling confident and satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
- Assist clients with hair extensions, ensuring proper application and maintenance.
- Utilize retail math skills to recommend products that enhance client satisfaction and promote sales.
- Upsell additional services and products to maximize client experience and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on techniques and customer service best practices.
- Offer makeup application services as needed to provide a comprehensive beauty experience.
- Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and follow-up communication.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Knowledge of current trends in hair styling, coloring, and treatment techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both styling and salon management tasks.
- Experience in front desk operations is a plus but not required.
