About the Role:
You will:
Be responsible for quality fusion welding, fabrication, production, and installation of HDPE piping and related material. Size ranges from 1/2" to over 65" diameters. Working on municipal, industrial, mining, and oil and gas jobsites as well as in-house projects at our McKinney, TX. location.
Become a certified expert and trainer of the operation of McElroy Fusion equipment utilizing the latest in ASTM standards and procedures.
Use a multitude of hand tools, forklifts, and fusion equipment to accomplish leading industry fabrication and installation techniques.
Accurately read cut/fabrication sheet diagrams and measure and mark pipes.
Safely operate heavy machines.
Maintain proper maintenance on all heavy-duty equipment.
Maintain cleanliness, organization and safety in the fabrication shop.
Safely load and unload piping material via forklift.
Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Travel to remote locations to oversee and assemble piping systems while representing our team and core values on-site.
About You:
1 or more years of construction site and material handling experience.
Experience in HDPE welding and fabrication preferred.
Valid driver's license

Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used for business operations.
Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Read, write, speak, and understand English.
