The Practice traces its roots back to almost 100 years ago and yet is leading the way in technological innovation and advanced high-street eye care.
Who Will You Be Working With?
Located in the heart of Blackburn, Tyrrells & Embery Optometry is a thriving, vibrant practice. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated, client-focused Optometrist to join our dynamic team.
What Will Your Role Involve?
In this part-time Optometrist position, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the attentive, best-in-class care they deserve. You'll have the chance to put all your clinical expertise to use with Clients who will value your skillset and the latest instruments and equipment to help you in your role
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional Qualifications: This role would be suited to a Clinician who has at least three years post qualification experience. Ideally a clinically minded clinician who has accreditations in CUES, Low Vision, Post Cataract etc.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You can effortlessly build good relationships with both your colleagues and clients, ensuring they feel understood and valued.
- Clear, Confident Communication: Being a good communicator is an essential attribute as you may be providing eye care to some clients who will be anxious about their eye health. Being a flexible communicator means you will be able to service both the very young Pre-school clients and the older generation with equal enthusiasm and aptitude.
- Positive and Proactive Attitude: You bring enthusiasm, a passion for learning, and a can-do approach to your work.
Key Role Details:
- 1.5 days per week (Mondays and Saturdays) on a bi-weekly rota (flexible)
- £47k pro rata
