Classification (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non-Exempt
As a member of our AR team, you will perform the preparation of AR billings for multiple companies on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process T&M billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Gather and compile documents to support customer invoicing.
- Matching work orders with invoicing.
- Generate invoices for clients, including tracking and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and post invoices into ERP accounting software.
- Special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with T&M billing processes.
- Familiarity with construction project documentation, field tickets, etc. a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with [specific software, e.g., QuickBooks, Sage] is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Sage Contractor a plus
- Previous experience with a General Contractor a plus
- Valid Drive License
- Must pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check
