Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in the industry.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Learn to operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Support the team in working with both low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Participate in framing carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards while on job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is beneficial.
• A basic understanding of electrical concepts, including low voltage and high voltage systems, is preferred.
• Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and take on new challenges in the field of industrial electricity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
