HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a CAD Drafter to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to contribute to the Sales team and bring a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to a dedicated, fast-paced team.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and modeling furniture solutions.
- Ability to read floor plans and product-specific drawings.
- Interpret customer requirements as they compare to HALCON’s production and drafting standards.
- Interact with Sales Project Managers, Estimators & Quote Drafters to ensure quotes and drawings meet customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Certificate in drafting or equivalent experience.
- Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software.
- Ability to solve problems and develop solutions for furniture design, fit and function.
- Ready to contribute new ideas in a fast-paced and growing environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service focused mindset.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple deadlines.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Salary Range:
