LOOKING FOR A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SUPERSTAR!!!

Halcyon Management is seeking a dedicated and organized Leasing Agent/Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of our property management activities, ensuring a high level of service to residents and maintaining the property’s standards. This role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Duties
  • Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding leasing information.
  • Process rental applications and conduct background checks on potential tenants.
  • Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for lease agreements, tenant information, and other related documents.
  • Assist with property maintenance requests and communicate with the appropriate personnel.
  • Utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads and follow up with prospects.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist in managing the leasing process, including property showings and upselling available units.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately into property management software such as Appfolio or Yardi.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation related to tenant applications, leases, and correspondence.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as responding to tenant inquiries, processing maintenance requests, and coordinating with vendors.
  • Support the Property Manager in conducting regular inspections of the property and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Assist in preparing reports on occupancy rates, tenant satisfaction, and maintenance needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in property management software such as Appfolio or Yardi is highly desirable.
  • Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with tenants and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an office environment.
  • Legal administrative experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
