Halcyon Manufacturing is a modern contract manufacturingcompany. We are looking for an experienced Vertical Milling CNC Machinist Level II to join our team. As a predominately prototype shop this role will have great potential to learn higher skill level for growth. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an aptitude to improve with a can-do attitude and perform in a fast-paced environment. We deliver beautifully produced parts to a wide range of sectors including Semi-Conductor, Medical, Aerospace, and Home Defense. Our facility is filled with only the highest quality equipment and maintained to an immaculate clean/safe environment for all of our team members. We will train the right person on 5 axis machining if you are looking to advance your skills. Must be able to read a blue print and have basic understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities:- Set up and operate vertical milling 3/5 Axis CNC machines to perform precision machining operations- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments for each job- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges- Assemble parts into finished products as required

Requirements:- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programming- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges- Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) such as profile, positions, flatness, run out, etc…- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
