Halcyon Manufacturing is a modern contract manufacturing company specializing in precision machined parts and components. We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer who is proficient in both milling and turning to join our team. While we are primarily a milling-focused shop , we are expanding our turning capabilities and need a highly skilled individual to help establish and optimize our lathe programming operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in programming CNC mills and lathes , knowledge of G-code, CAM software, and fixture design , and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-precision prototyping environment .

Job Duties (But Not Limited To) :
- CNC Programming : Create, optimize, and troubleshoot programs for both 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines and CNC lathes .
- Process Expansion : Help establish and grow our turning capabilities , ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- Setup & Fixturing : Develop and implement efficient workholding and fixture solutions for machining operations.
- G-Code & CAM Software : Utilize CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or equivalent) to program complex parts.
- Machine Setup & Troubleshooting : Assist machinists with initial setups, prove-outs, and resolving issues during production.
- Quality Control : Work with the QC team to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and customer specifications .
- Efficiency Optimization : Continuously improve cycle times, tool life, and machining efficiency while maintaining high quality.
Job Requirements :
5 years of CNC programming experience in both milling and turning.Proficiency in G-code, CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or equivalent), and toolpath optimization.Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and part tolerances.Experience with high-precision machining in a prototype or production environment.Ability to troubleshoot and improve machining processes for both mills and lathes.Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001 standards is a plus.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Company Values
