Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this critical role, you will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Assess patient physical and psychosocial condition on an ongoing basis and formulate a nursing diagnosis through observation of the client's physical condition and behavior.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and modify as needed.
- Document nursing care per hospital policies and utilize manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and effect productivity.
Requirements:
- Current California RN License.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
