What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Server position at Halcyon?
This individual’s expertise goes beyond understanding of the menu. It dives deeper into a passion for food, the local culture, and human connection. This person creates a welcoming, warm environment that leaves guests with not only a great meal, but a new and inspired outlook on their surroundings.
Requested Tasks
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, running food, serving beverages, breads, etc.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Take phone order and deliver meals to guest rooms
Requested Capabilities
- Prior experience highly preferred
- A proactive and friendly demeanor
- Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables and replace linens
