Job Details
Job Description : Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
General Job duties : Types of procedures required, multitasked that is able to efficiently work independently.
Equipment utilized in the unit / dept : Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems.
Job Requirements
More than 2 years experience
Proficient IV skills
Familiar with Stroke, STEMI and Trauma activations
Understands core measures and National Patient Safety Goals
Familiar with AIDET and Press Ganey patient customer services
Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (Mandatory)
NCI and Procedural Sedation (requested, not mandatory)
Schedule Information
Variable - 8- or 12-hour shifts
Scheduled 80 hours in 2-week period
Manager to determine shift upon arrival
One on call shift per roster
At least one weekend off per roster
Floating to other units / departments determined by nursing administration, and will only float to units the employee has clinical abilities to work in.
