The Position
We're looking for passionate Care Home Assistant Manager (LPN) responsible for managing the daily operations of the ARCH/Care Home in the absence of the Primary Caregiver (Care Home Manager). Ensures the delivery of high-quality care to residents of the care home and provides supervision to care home staff while on duty.

The Position
We're looking for passionate Care Home Assistant Manager (LPN) responsible for managing the daily operations of the ARCH/Care Home in the absence of the Primary Caregiver (Care Home Manager). Ensures the delivery of high-quality care to residents of the care home and provides supervision to care home staff while on duty.
- Observes, documents and reports changes in health status of residents; contacts physicians and/or APRN and schedules appointments as necessary. Processes physician orders.
- Administers medications and performs procedures and/or treatments according to recognized standards of nursing practice and in conformance with policies of Care Homes by Hale Makua.
- Performs admission assessment in absence of Primary (Care Home Manager) and develops plan of care accordingly. When needed, coordinates and performs necessary duties related to discharge and/or transfer.
- Completes required documentation such as monthly progress notes, plan of care, incident reports, and treatment notes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current license as a License Practical Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
- Minimum one-year recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Healthcare setting and Supervisory experience preferred.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
- First Aid and CPR preferred (can be done in-house).
