What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Rights Associate Attorney position at Hale & Monico?

Hale & Monico is a multi-state law firm focusing on civil rights cases, complex personal injury litigation, and representing victims of sexual assault.

We are seeking an Associate Attorney for our growing civil rights and personal injury division. This individual would be working with more senior attorneys on interesting, complex, and high-profile cases on both the state and federal levels. Responsibilities include all matters associated with a trial practice, including attending court, taking and defending depositions, engaging in written discovery, client relations, drafting legal briefs, and assisting during trials.

The ideal candidate would have between 0-4 years of litigation experience, familiarity with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and excellent research and writing skills. Participation in depositions and trial work is a bonus but not mandatory.

The most important things we are looking for in a candidate are a strong work ethic, a willingness to take the initiative, and a desire to help those in need.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
