What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen and Dining Room Assistant position at Hale O Laie Apartments?
Property Overview
In the wake of the wildfires that devastated the island of Maui in the summer of 2023, Paramount Hotels, like many legacy businesses felt a distinct obligation and desire to help our community that has stood by our side for decades. We have had the opportunity to partner with the State of Hawaii to transform and manage the former Haggai International Mid-Pacific Center in Kihei. Together, we have re-imagined the facilities’ usefulness and transformed the property into Hale 'O La'ie, a landing place for the displaced survivors for the Lahaina wildfires. Hale 'O La'ie is a place designed in the spirit of remembrance and renewal in addition to wellness, fun, and everyday needs. Hale 'O La'ie has recently opened a communal kitchen and cooking space, as well as an adjacent dining area, to help assist the tenants with everyday access to equipment and utensils needed for cooking meals. We have also created an outdoor cooking area with dining seating, at the pool deck where tenants have access to electric grills.
