Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to lead our construction projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards. The Foreman will supervise a team of workers, communicate with clients, and ensure that the site is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Duties
- Supervise Construction Crew: Lead and manage a team of skilled workers, subcontractors, and laborers. Ensure the crew is properly trained, motivated, and follows safety protocols.
- Site Management: Reads and interprets project plans and specifications and analyzes construction methods and scheduling for details and sequences of work.
- Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and tools. Ensure that materials are available when needed and equipment is properly maintained.
- Communication: Act as the point of contact between workers, project managers, and clients. Ensure all team members are informed of project updates and changes.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, hours worked, and any incidents or safety issues. Submit reports to management as required.

- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to new or less-experienced workers, helping them develop their skills and grow within the company.
Qualifications
- Experience: Site development construction, concrete construction, earthwork construction.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and building codes.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in construction management or related field is a plus.
- Certifications: ACI certifications preffered; OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred; First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in outdoor environments, lift heavy objects, and operate construction equipment when necessary.

- Leadership Ability: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and personnel in a construction environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Bluebeam, CAD, SketchUp).
