Responsibilities:
- Delivery of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to customers.
- Picking up cores and other parts from customers for return to the branch.
- Operate, maintain, and properly use parts vehicles (box truck) in a safe and lawful manner at all times.
- Assist warehouse personnel with picking parts and loading delivery trucks.
- Have a good understanding of the delivery area and be able to navigate from map(s) and directions.
- Assist when needed with receiving and processing daily shipments.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Participate in training programs offered by the Company and vendors.
- Adherence to company safety program.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to drive in inclement weather.
- Must be able to lift parts with an average weight of 20 pounds but occasionally weighing as much as 75 - 80 lbs.
- Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test and D.O.T physical.
- Possession of CDL Class A License is a plus, but not required.
