Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel (Hale) is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening for a Trailer Rental Manager at its Little Rock, AR branch.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned manager with experience selling or renting semi-trailers or other heavy-duty equipment. They will be responsible for representing the Company as a knowledgeable trailer expert to find the perfect solution to meet the customer’s trailer and equipment rental needs.

Responsibilities:
- Achieving sales and profit goals established by the Company.
- Preparation and utilization of an annual Operating Plan for the Rental Department.
- Supervision of all rental personnel including sales, operations and admin.
- Developing and maintaining existing and new customer relationships.
- Soliciting prospects and existing customers with the ability to promote and rent all of the Company’s equipment lines.
- Preparing and presenting product rental proposals to customers.
- Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross selling opportunities.
- Work with Hale’s marketing and creative department to implement rental marketing programs.
- Oversight of department administration including maintenance of customer, vendor and equipment files and review and approval of all work orders.
- Interfacing with corporate accounting and administration, as well as other branch locations as needed.
- Participating in Company and vendor sponsored training programs.
- Comply with the Company’s safety program.
- Will perform other tasks, as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage staff.
- Must have 3-5 years’ experience in sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or service or a related sales background.
- Must have strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and also be able to multi-task.
- Good computer skills.
- Able to work flexible hours based on workload.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
