About Our Team
We are a team oriented and dedicated to providing quality care to our residents. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The primary function of this position is responsible for a team of residents to render general nursing care in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Administer approved nursing techniques to prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare and aid the Physicians during treatments and examinations of residents
- Continuously observes residents for any significant conditions and reactions of residents and notifies Nurse Supervisor or Physician of resident's conditions or reaction to drugs, treatments and incidents
- Perform duties as outlined for Nursing Assistants in performing daily duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
- Prior long-term care experience or post acute care preferably
- Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care
