We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Principal Technician, Mechanical Engineer to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a part time, on-call position located virtually in conjunction with our Miamisburg, OH office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Communicate with subcontractors, tenants, and clients during field activities.
- Prepare and/or review written communications and technical deliverables.
- Demonstrate and apply technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
- Leverage understanding of technical scopes for assigned work and their alignment with overall project objectives to deliver quality assignments.
- Plan and perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 6 years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including verbally communicating and presenting project information.
