We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager, Environmental Engineer or Geologist to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position located in our Portland, OR office.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:
- Serve as a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately manage various environmental projects.
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team supporting a wide variety of clients with numerous challenging projects.
- Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.
- Be capable of managing financial and technical aspects of projects.
- Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements.
- Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables.
- Be effective in assigning and managing work.
- Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to more junior level staff.
- Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
- Direct environmental field observation and testing programs.
- Be able to effectively prepare recommendations for various investigation and remediation projects.
- Develop a working understanding of H&A’s other consulting practice areas and actively support marketing additional services to existing clients.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant site characterization and remediation construction support experience, including professional consulting experience.
- Proficient in local, state, and federal regulations.
- Registered professional engineer or geologist in the State of Oregon or able to obtain following employment.
- Must be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient at writing, review, and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
- Ability to comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company.
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
- Must possess unwavering commitment to company and client Health & Safety protocols.
