We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking an entry level to junior level Environmental Engineer or Geologist to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This position entails travel to job sites and working outside of the office setting for a significant portion of time, conducting site and subsurface characterization for environmental and geotechnical projects and / or monitoring contractor's geotechnical and environmental-related activities during construction. This full-time position will be based out of our Rocky Hill, CT office.
Immediate Project Support Needs :
- Support a long-term project as a field QA / QC Engineer, work with the design team to provide field quality documentation and subcontractor management, with a strong emphasis on safety, for the construction of soil vapor mitigation systems at locations in Connecticut with potential occasional travel to other states.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the design teams and provide progress updates. Be the liaison between the field contractor team and the office project team on construction progress.
- This field assignment will be on average 75% of the work for this position with the remainder of the time primarily supporting environmental characterization and remediation projects.
- Experience overseeing remedial system construction, or vapor mitigation systems, is a plus.
