A reputable, regional promotional/production/ad agency with an over 30-year track record seeks an enthusiastic, resilient, and quick-learning candidate with administrative, marketing, and social media skill sets. Adobe Creative Suite proficiencies are a plus.
Time management skills, organization, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment are crucial for success.
Professionalism, self-motivation, and an exceptional eye for detail are expected.
We work in a macOS environment.
Resourcefulness is key. Much of what H&A accomplishes is not initially familiar territory for our staff. We are fast learners with the ability to adapt to new assignments. You will be expected to try your best but will not be penalized for an initial lack of familiarity.
Part-time opening with full-time potential.

You will play an integral role in our fast-paced agency as an associate to the owner. The job requires communicating directly with the owner, our clients, and vendors, including active participation in problem-solving. Adaptivity is valued. Candidates must possess accurate typing skills of 50wpm at minimum to transcribe meeting notes and emails.
Our agency is a small business, and you will work on several projects and/or tasks on any given day.
The hiree would be working with client categories such as retail, restaurants, and medical, as well as nonprofits that are politically and philosophically diverse.

Required Knowledge:
- Administrative - Composing and/or typing dictated emails, spreadsheets, production orders, task lists, project descriptions, and research. Exemplary written and oral business communication skills are required.
- Microsoft Office Suite expertise (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic Bookkeeping and Invoicing (we use QuickBooks)
- Proficiency in navigating and operating macOS; our office operations are facilitated remotely via Zoom Screen Share on Macs and the Apple platform, accessing our business’ files. However, connecting from a Windows-based computer is not a problem with a bit of adaptability.
Helpful Knowledge:
- Graphic design - Posters, flyers, banners, etc.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- IT troubleshooting is a plus.
Assignments with training will include:
- Social Media - Producing captions and images for social media, assessing social media analytics/dashboards, and setting up / managing social media ad campaigns. (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok)
- Google Business listing management
- Google Analytics
- Google/YouTube Ads Scheduling & Management
- Search Engine Marketing Management
- Updating images on content management system (CMS) websites, social media posts with minimal graphics, etc.
Flexible days and hours are available to accommodate college students, other part-time employment, or freelance work.
Workload could fluctuate anywhere from 10 to 20 hours per week.
California residency is required, with all work performed remotely.
