Position Purpose
Performs all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance activities as required. Provide high-level customer service to residents. Ability to work as a part of the maintenance team and independently ensure the safety and integrity of the property.
Essential Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and performs minor and routine maintenance and repair such as : electrical, plumbing, AC, heating, appliances, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, carpet, tile, flooring, gutter, lighting, fireplaces, ceiling fans, doors, cabinets, windows, locks, security systems, etc.
- Handles resident work orders in a timely manner.
- Performs unit make-ready repairs and services and restores to market-ready status in a timely manner.
- Utilize personal Smartphone as needed, taking residents’ calls through the answering service and responding in a timely manner to emergency maintenance calls.
- Assists in maintaining grounds and exterior building issues, including trash removal, pet waste, lighting issues, pool assistance, painting, power washing, snow removal, and other duties as needed.
- Assists in maintaining the interior of the building, including painting, cleaning, and other duties as needed.
- Other maintenance duties as assigned.
