Qualifications :
Previous server with bar knowledge is helpful, but not required1-2 years of food service experienceMinimum education : High School (or equivalent) DiplomaA thorough understanding of fine and casual diningMust be of legal age to serve liquor according to state lawPossesses excellent customer service skillsMust be dependableMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work in a team environmentResponsibilities :
Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds, providing a first-class experience and dedicated service they will carry with them long after they’ve left our premisesIdeal candidates are dependable, customer service-centric, and work well in a teamDemonstrating a strong level of communication and interpersonal skills, a Restaurant Server will be processing orders and serving food & beverage items to customers, ensuring 100% guest satisfactionIdeal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as neededMaintain a professional appearance at all timesProvide prompt and efficient customer serviceDisplay knowledge of the F&B menuTakes guest's food and / or drink orders and turns into kitchen, bar, etcServe beverages and prepared meals to guests in an accurate and timely mannerAdhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guestsChecks back to ensure guest(s) satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary and / or requestedSuggests and serves dessert, coffee, and other items as applicable and / or necessaryHandles all cash and / or credit cards for payment following all standard operating proceduresKeeps tables, dining room, and workstation(s) sanitized and organizedListen and respond to customer complaintsPerforms clean-up and closing procedures as assigned by managerPerform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or managerPhysical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scoopingThe employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and handsThe employee occasionally will be required to lift to 30lbsUse of sight, reading, and wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionWork extended hours during the holiday seasonWork weekends and holidaysShift : 10 hour shift
