Civil Engineer Intern – Land Development – Austin, TX
Halff is actively seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Land Development team in our Austin, TX office. The Civil Engineer Intern should have interest in land development design.
Civil Engineer Intern – Land Development Responsibilities:
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development projects
- Assist with drafting CAD work
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Civil Engineer Intern – Land Development Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Great communication skills
- Solid relationship and team building skills
- Self-motivated and strong organization skills
Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
