Graduate Engineer –Water and Wastewater-Richardson, TX
Halff has a position open for a Water and Wastewater Graduate Engineer in our Richardson, TX location. This position will work under the direct supervision of a PE on water, wastewater, and reclaimed water utility projects with an emphasis on pipeline conveyance, pump station, and lift station design. Graduate Civil Engineer Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Works under a licensed Professional Engineer in the development of pipeline conveyance plan production and 3D modeling
- Creates detailed plan production in support of development of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (P,S,&E)
- Performs engineering-related computations and calculations
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and other agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
- Passed FE exam or ability to acquire within six months of employment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is preferred.
- A positive attitude, self-directed yet with the ability to implement direction from project leadership.
- A drive to learn with a focus on quality, integrity, and success.
