Halff has an opening for a Senior Professional Civil Engineer, with a Florida PE License, to work on our Water Resources team in Tampa, FL as a Senior Project Manager. The candidate will lead and manage a team of engineers and other professionals, mange projects, and interact with clients. Other responsibilities include project management, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and design for Public and Private storm water infrastructure. Halff seeks a highly skilled professional to create cost-effective, maintainable, and sustainable solutions for municipalities, governmental agencies, and developers.

Senior Professional Civil Engineer / Senior Project Manager - Water Resources Education, Experience and Licensure (Minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree
- Must have a minimum 10 years of experience in Water Resources project delivery
- Professional Engineering (PE) License in the state of Florida
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion
- Must be proficient in project management, administration, and supervision
- Requires technical experience and/or familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure
- Technical experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and 2D Modeling software packages (ICPR4, GIS, etc.)
- Experience in the development of stormwater infrastructure and water quality assessment
- Sound understanding of tidal flooding, storm surge, and wave propagation concepts
- General knowledge of coastal engineering design and restoration practices
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on quality, integrity and success.
