Halff has an opening for a Senior Civil Engineer, with their Florida Professional Engineer (PE) License, to join our Florida Transportation / Roadway Practice in one of our Tampa, Tavares or Orlando, FL offices. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering design experience with a focus on delivering and / or managing projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Candidates experience should include leading technical approach and delivery of roadway tasks, and / or leading delivery of transportation design projects for FDOT, with Districts 1, 5 and 7 preferable. Halff’s Transportation services safely move people, vehicles and freight using multimodal applications ranging from roadways (local roads to interstate highways), transit and active transportation projects from initial planning through final design. The complete project development process includes responsive planning and design such as geometrics and storm drainage. It incorporates technology and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to relay roadway information and communication. Finally, it brings transit planning and design to the forefront.
