Survey Crew Member - Richardson, TX
Halff has a current opening for an entry level Survey Crew Member in our Richardson, TX location. This position will be on a field crew assisting a Party Chief by operating conventional and GPS survey equipment to accurately and efficiently measure topographic features and locate boundary evidence in support of land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects. Survey Crew Member Requirements:
- At least 2 years of relevant, hands-on experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat & cold.
- Understanding of Computer Technology required.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Possess a meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to promote accuracy. There is very minimal room for error in this position.
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication.
- Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis.
- Must be available to arrive to work during earlier than usual start times, beginning at 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
- Travel generally up to one week at a time will be required for the position, up to 50%.
