Halff has an immediate opening for a Survey Field Crew Coordinator in our Fort Smith, AR location.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists department personnel with planning and scheduling of field personnel and equipment.
- Oversees the instruction and direction of survey crews located in the Fort Smith office. This includes daily updates on projects and field crew support.
- The ability to perform quality control duties for all types of survey data in Trimble Business Center, included but not limited to processing RTK data, processing robotic total station data, processing static GPS data, processing electronic level data, verifying rod/staff heights in raw data to field notes, data adjustments, and correct coding errors to ensure that all data meets the minimum standards set forth by the company.
- Maintains company vehicles, equipment, and supplies for the survey field crews.
- Responsible for the application of safe work practices in compliance with the Company's safety rules and helping to recognize possible safety hazards on behalf of the survey crew members.
- Responsible for the development of employees by leading, training, and motivating employees to satisfy the expectations of their positions.
- SI or the ability to attain an SI is a plus but not required.
- Civil 3D experience is a plus but not required.
