Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role involves assessing, collecting, and documenting patient data to identify nursing diagnoses, as well as establishing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care and discharge plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and monitoring patient responses.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, treatments, and outcomes.
- Participate in educational programs and activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
