Existing Customer Sales Representative (Customer Success & Upselling)
As a leading provider of advanced linen and uniform service programs and solutions, Halifax Linen Service is seeking an Existing Customer Sales Representative. The goal for an Existing Customer Sales Representative is to help customers succeed while contributing to the growth of Halifax Linen through upselling and growing relationships with our existing customer base.
Role Performance & Experience:
This role requires 2 years in sales, customer service or account management, preferably with experience in upselling, cross-selling, or managing existing customer relationships. An Existing Customer Sales Representative must have the cognitive ability to solve problems quickly and excellent communication skills to explain the solutions to help the customer base achieve success while building long-term customer relationships. The role also requires someone with strong problem-solving abilities, who has quick learning skills and an exceptional capacity to communicate effectively. Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset is essential to contribute successful growth for both the customer and for Halifax Linen Service.
Role Focus & Performance Expectations:
The primary focus of the Existing Customer Sales Representative role requires a strong mix of the following areas:
- 30% Customer Retention and Growth – Focus on expanding customer engagement by addressing concerns, providing ongoing support, and ensuring the continued success of our product/services for customers.
- 30% Product Expertise – Continuously learn about our products, services, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations and become a trusted advisor to our customers.
- 20% Customer Relationship Management – Cultivate and maintain long-term, positive relationships with existing customers. Regularly check in to ensure satisfaction and uncover new opportunities to provide value.
20% Collaborate with Service Team – Work closely with other members of the Service team to ensure a seamless customer experience and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
