What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Halifax Restaurant?
We are looking for pasionate cooks to join our team at Halifax. Halifax kitchen is ever evolving and we are constantly working on new techniques and development. We are looking for someone that is passionate about food and is able to adapt to everyday changes. We are a 3 meal period restaurant with a large banquet facility so banquet experience is a plus but not necessary.
We produce our own charcuterie, smoked fish and pastas and strive to make as many ingredients in house as we can. Our restaurant focuses on sustainability using local products and we are constantly developing and expanding this philosophy.
Daily responsibilities of the line cooks include but are not limited to: ensuring your stations are prepped and ready for service, assisting other cooks with their stations, cooking during service while keeping your station clean and organized, breakdown of stations at the end of each shift, assisting in the banquet kitchen when needed.
