POSITION SUMMARY :
The Banquet Houseman is responsible for set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guests. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc.
- Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
- Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
- Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guests' view.
- Maintains a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude provides our customers with the highest quality care and service.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.
