Join Our Growing Team as a Quick Lube Technician!
Hall Chevrolet GMC is seeking a dedicated Quick Lube Technician to become a valuable part of our expanding team! The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of automotive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including changing engine oil and fluid levels.
- Rotate, repair, or replace tires as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of each vehicle for essential safety components.
- Drive vehicles for testing and ensure proper fluid levels through inspection and refilling.
- Maintain tire pressure and clean and lubricate fittings as necessary.
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters, while effectively communicating oil levels to team members.
- Troubleshoot and repair vehicles promptly and accurately, ensuring efficiency.
- Proactively repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns or further damage.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to complete various tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and service procedures.
- Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
