HIGHWAY LABORER
Hall Contracting of Kentucky is a 100% Employee-Owned Company. We have been in business since 1954 and we are seeking an Construction Laborer for our Highway Division. Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in highway construction projects; performs manual work.
- Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Performs materials handling and storage.
- Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
- Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentucky’s safety, and quality procedures.
- Comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must have at least 1 year construction related experience. Previous concrete/highway experience a plus. Must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must hold a Regular Operator (Class D) driving license. Applicant must have no felonies that are violent in nature and/or theft related in the last 7 years. Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from job site. High School Diploma or GED preferred
