Summary/Objective
The Asphalt Foreman will directly supervise, coordinate and schedule daily activities of a paving crew. High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 5 years experience supervising a paving crew of employees is required.
Essential Functions
- Blueprint and specification reading.
- Keep daily field records.
- Manage workers and ensure quality work is performed
- Prepare employee timesheets
- Inspects work for compliance with specifications and safety requirements. Conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment. Employee must also comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements
