INDUSTRIAL IRON WORKER
$28 - $30 an hour/$100 per day pre diem

Requirements:
- 1 years construction iron work experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working from heights
- Ability to travel as needed
- Able to work 40 hours a week
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Dependable transportation to and from work
- No felonies that are violent in nature and/or theft related in the last 7 years
- Comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements
Essential Functions:
- Unload and stack fabricated steel so that it can be lifted with slings.
- Knowledgeable about lifting and rigging from crane signaling to taglines.
- Able to perform rivet busting at ground level.
- Able to connect steel with bolts.
- The construction laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at industrial type construction sites, railroad and power plant projects.
- Knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials.
- Must be physically healthy to stand, bend and walk for up to 10-12 hours per day
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at constructions job sites. The noise level in the site can be loud. This position is preformed outside weather conditions.
