As the IT Director at Hall's Culligan Water, you will work closely under the guidance of the CTO to oversee and manage the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and strategic leader with the ability to manage and deliver stable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure and operations that support the goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Office Automation equipment.
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and execution of disaster recovery plans.
- Work closely with the CTO to identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
- Provide leadership for IT project management initiatives and strategies, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of IT projects and services.
- Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization.
- Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline, and discharge.
- Develop the IT staff to meet the changing needs of users, groups and offices; new projects and technologies; and varying staffing levels.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes with a focus on security and risk management.
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, back-up procedures, information security and control structures.
- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as IT Director or similar role within an IT operation environment.
- Experience in controlling information technology budget.
- Deep understanding of IT operations, system and network administration, and project management.
- Solid knowledge of data analysis, hardware/software installation, and maintenance, and user support.
- Experience with or knowledge of IT governance and operations.
- Professional certification (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is a plus.
