Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe activities and identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing assistance as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Document incidents and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques is a plus.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
