Overall Activities: We are seeking an outgoing and results-driven Business Development Manager in the Boston region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
- Attend trade shows, training sessions and vendor sponsored events to build relationships and discover new leads.
- Facilitate site visits to review project opportunities.
- Track new and existing project opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development.
- Strong understanding of the engineering and automation markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry a plus.
