Description
Overall Activities : We currently have an opening for a Controls Design Engineer in our South Burlington, VT office. This position will involve the design of Industrial Control Panels for Semiconductor, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Heavy Industry clients. As a member of our team, you'll perform the following duties :
- Creating control panel layouts, point-to-point wiring and network architecture drawings.
- Specifying and selecting control system hardware (PLC and HMI), control panel components, network switches, instruments, motor controls, and valves.
- Conducting field surveys of existing facilities for retrofit projects.
- Coordinating with clients, fellow engineers, and the control panel shop to ensure the design meets project requirements.
- Overseeing panel fabrication and reviewing and performing quality checks of the designs of fellow engineers.
