Job Summary
As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating various events to ensure successful and memorable experiences for clients and guests.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
- Negotiate contracts with venues, hotels, restaurants, and other service providers
- Coordinate guest services and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Implement event marketing strategies to attract attendees
- Manage event budgets and expenses effectively
- Upsell additional services to enhance the event experience
- Oversee banquet and catering arrangements
- Ensure all organizational aspects of events are on track
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning and management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with hotel, restaurant, and banquet operations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Pay: $16.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Rotating weekends
