What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Coordinator I (Onsite: Houma, LA) position at Halliburton?
The Material Coordinator I under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
- Assignment Length: 6 months with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations functions of the warehouse, ensuring a clean and organized environment through various cleanup and housekeeping activities.
- Perform additional duties and activities as directed by the supervisor to support warehouse operations.
- Utilize handheld scanners for inventory management and tracking.
Qualifications:
- A two-year degree and 1 year of work experience are preferred.
- Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, with knowledge of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
- No previous experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in warehouse operations.
