Job Description
- Under direct supervision, the Production Planner is responsible for production order management and daily execution on the shop floor.
- This job is the first level in the Manufacturing Scheduling job family.
- At this level, the Production Planner has limited autonomy to deviate from established processes butis expected to develop their understanding of the principles necessary to exercise such judgment at the upper levels of the Manufacturing Scheduling job family.

Performs release of production orders within acceptable guidelines, uses dispatch report to coordinate schedule execution, and performs inventory management functions to optimize material flow.
