The Tool Tech I under strict supervision, performs maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down-hole tools.
- Pay Rate: $20.00/ hour
- Assignment Length: 6 month contract with the high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: 7:00 until work is done
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment with precision and care.
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Actively participate in the quality improvement process, contributing to the enhancement of our services and operations.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills are preferred to efficiently manage documentation and communication.
- Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required, depending on the specific job requirements.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, is required.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are necessary to understand and document procedures and reports.
- This position serves as the entry-level role within the tool technician family, offering opportunities for growth and development.
