Job Duties and Qualifications
- Under general supervision, repairs and performs maintenance on conventional tools, down-hole tools and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools.
- Areas of specialization may include : mechanical aptitude, pressure testing, surface equipment, and down-hole tools.
- Performs maintenance, inspects surface equipment, and perform repairs.
- Assembles and disassembles down-hole tools.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process.
