About the role
We are seeking a talented and versatile Lead Designer to join Halliday as our first dedicated design hire. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a creative and motivated generalist to establish and lead our design function. As Lead Designer, you will define our brand identity, craft seamless product experiences, and play a key role in shaping Halliday's presence in the Web3 space.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and Maintain Our Brand Identity : Define and evolve our brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- UI / UX Design : Lead the end-to-end design of our product suite and website to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Prototyping and Wireframing : Create, iterate, and refine wireframes, prototypes, and new web pages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to transform complex technical requirements into user-friendly designs and marketing materials.
- User Research : Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and improve design decisions.
- Marketing Design : Design visuals for external channels, including blogs, social media, and promotional content.
What we're looking for
We're seeking a design generalist who excels at both UI / UX and branding / marketing design, with a primary focus on UI / UX.

Compensation
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. This reflects the minimum and maximum range across all US locations. This does not include equity or benefits.
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : experience, relevant skills, and role level. Your recruiter can share more about the compensation and benefits applicable to your location during the hiring process.
